World Cancer Day – February 4th

World Cancer Day is close to many of our hearts, with almost everyone in the world having experienced the effects of cancer in some shape or form. Whether you’re documenting your or your loved ones’ treatment or recovery, remembering and celebrating the lives of those you’ve lost to cancer, or simply showing your solidarity and admiration for all the people battling the disease, you can get involved on social media.

Many people choose this day to raise money for charities supporting cancer patients and investing in research.

Find fundraiser events near you and see how you can get involved! Check out the official World Cancer Day Instagram account for more info.

Late post, but some of you may have known yesterday was #worldcancerday and as most of yall know I was diagnosed w stage 3 Ewing Sarcoma a rare bone cancer more often times found in young kids on my 21st birthday on October 20 2016 . I decided to pick out sum of my favorite or realist pictures during the course of my 14 rounds of chemotherapy over the past year. Going from my very first chemo (when ya boy still had the man bun) to my tumor removal surgery(February 8th2017) , to when I got sick and lost damn near 20 sum pounds in a very short time (I was like 138 lbs) , to ringing the chemo bell after my very last chemo while also definitely goin against hospital rules An doin a #360flip while connected to my IV pole 🤣🕺 this day is meant to bring awareness to people across the world, cancer doesn’t discriminate, cancer doesn’t care how old or how young you are, cancer holds no remorse for anyone, so please ladies an gentlemen listen to your bodies, & take care of your body as well. A healthy body is a happy body !! I tried my best to set an example for anyone who has ever been faced w this evil disease or just any life problem you may come across, I wanted to show people that it is not impossible, I wanted to show people that cancer is NOT a Fucking death sentence no matter what any number or damn statistic says, lastly I wanted to show people how much help having a positive attitude in the most darkest of days can do for you🙏 Cancer taught me many many life lessons, that I will forever cherish and take with me for the rest of my life. I wish I could personally thank each an every person that has been here for me supporting me and cheering me on the entire way. It has been one hell of a ride, And I could not have done it with out all the great support, Love, prayers and positive vibes 🙏🙏 ENJOY EVERYDAY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE TOMORROW IS NEVER PROMISED!! Love you all man, and if y’all could keep me in your thoughts n prayers this months that’d be greatly appreciated! I am 5 months out of chemo and I have my 3rd post chemo scan on the 20th of this month🙏🙏🙏 FUCK CANCER !! #worldcancerday #ewingsarcomaawareness #fuckcancer #sarcomasurvivor 🖕🖕🖕🖕🎗🎗
