What is a Mention?
If you ever heard the term “Mention” being used in social media, it typically refers to a Twitter terminology. A mention is when a user tweets you via your Twitter handle. “Mention” is also interchangeably used for notifications, or replies to a thread. You may also hear the term “Replies” used instead of mentions too.
